If you are driving in Badlands National Park, head towards the Badlands Loop Road (SD-240). Follow SD-240 until you reach Cedar Pass Lodge at 20681 SD-240, Interior, SD 57750. The lodge is located near the Ben Reifel Visitor Center, which is a great landmark to help you navigate. There is no entry fee for the lodge itself, but remember that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is $30 per vehicle for a seven-day pass.

Public Transportation
Unfortunately, public transportation options to Cedar Pass Lodge are limited. The nearest major public transportation hub is in Rapid City, approximately 70 miles away. From Rapid City, you can take a shuttle service or rent a car to reach Badlands National Park. Once you are in the park, use the directions provided for driving. If you do opt for a shuttle, be sure to confirm the drop-off point, as some services may not drop you directly at the lodge.

If you are already in the vicinity of Cedar Pass Lodge and prefer to walk, simply follow the trails or paths leading from the Ben Reifel Visitor Center towards the lodge. The distance is approximately 0.5 miles, and the walk is scenic with views of the unique Badlands formations. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially during the warmer months.
