From Badlands National Park, head west on SD-240 W for approximately 30 miles. You will pass through the scenic landscapes of the Badlands before reaching the intersection with SD-79. Turn right onto SD-79 N and continue for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with US-16. Turn left onto US-16 W, and follow it for about 15 miles. You will see signs for Custer State Park. Turn right onto SD-36 W, which leads directly into the park. The entrance to Custer State Park is on your left.
