If you are in Badlands National Park, take SD-34 W from the park entrance. Continue on SD-34 W for approximately 30 miles until you reach I-94. Merge onto I-94 W towards Dickinson. After about 40 miles, take exit 61 for US-85 N. Follow US-85 N for about 50 miles until you reach Grassy Butte. From Grassy Butte, follow County Road 8 northeast for about 10 miles, and then take a left onto River Bend Overlook Road. Follow the signs to the parking area for the River Bend Overlook Trail.
