If you are starting from the Bismarck City Center (for example, from the Bismarck Public Library at 515 N 5th St), head south on N 5th St towards E Main Ave. Turn left on E Main Ave and walk east for about 0.5 miles. Camp Hancock State Historic Site will be on your left at 101 E Main Ave.

From the Bismarck Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop on N 5th St. Take the #1 route towards the Bismarck Airport. Get off at the stop on E Main Ave, which is approximately 5 stops away. After disembarking, walk back west for a short distance, and you will find Camp Hancock State Historic Site at 101 E Main Ave.
