If you are starting from downtown Bismarck, head west on Main Avenue toward 3rd Street. Continue walking straight until you reach 3rd Street, then turn right. Follow 3rd Street until it intersects with Broadway Avenue. Turn left on Broadway Avenue and continue straight. After approximately 1 mile, Broadway Avenue will become State Avenue. Keep walking straight, and you will eventually see the signs for Custer House. It’s located at 1600 3rd Street in Mandan, ND, which is just across the river from Bismarck.
