Walking
From the center of Cavalier, begin at the intersection of Main Street and 5th Avenue. Head north on Main Street for about three blocks until you reach 8th Avenue. Turn left (west) onto 8th Avenue and continue for approximately half a mile. You will pass residential areas and a few small parks along the way. When you reach the intersection with 5th Street, continue straight as the road turns into County Road 55. After another quarter-mile, you will see Vikur Church on your right. The church is set back slightly from the road, so keep an eye out for its distinctive architecture.

Starting from the Cavalier City Park, head south on 5th Street for about two blocks until you reach Main Street. Turn right (west) on Main Street and bike for about a mile. As you approach the end of Main Street, you will need to turn left onto 8th Avenue. Continue on 8th Avenue until you see County Road 55; turn right onto County Road 55. After biking for about half a mile, Vikur Church will be on your right, easily identifiable by its unique design and peaceful surroundings.
