    If you are starting from downtown Grand Forks, make your way to N 3rd St. Head north until you reach the intersection with 1st Ave N. Turn left onto 1st Ave N. Continue walking west; you will pass by several shops and cafes. After a few blocks, you will see the Grand Forks Historic Preservation Commission located at 1405 1st Ave N on your right. The building is easily identifiable and is situated near the corner of 1st Ave N and N 15th St.
