If you are starting from the Mandan City Hall (205 2nd Ave NW, Mandan, ND 58554), head north on 2nd Ave NW towards E Main St. Turn left onto E Main St and continue for about 0.6 miles. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Once you reach the intersection with 3rd St NW, continue straight until you reach the bridge over the Missouri River. Cross the bridge, and as you reach the other side, you will find yourself in Bismarck. Keep walking straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will see the Lewis & Clark and Sakakawea Sculptures on your left, in a park area along the river.

Biking
Starting at the Mandan Depot (200 1st St NW, Mandan, ND 58554), head east on 1st St NW until you reach the intersection with 2nd Ave NW. Turn right on 2nd Ave NW and continue until you meet E Main St. Turn left on E Main St and bike towards the Missouri River. Once you reach the bridge, cross it. After crossing, continue straight for about 0.3 miles along the riverfront until you see the Lewis & Clark and Sakakawea Sculptures on your left. There are bike paths along the way for a safer ride.

Public Transport
You can take the local bus service from Mandan to Bismarck. Head to the nearest bus stop at Mandan High School (2300 12th Ave NW, Mandan, ND 58554). Board the bus route that heads towards Bismarck. It will take you across the Missouri River. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the closest stop to the Lewis & Clark and Sakakawea Sculptures. Once you disembark, walk towards the riverfront park area where the sculptures are located. It's a short walk from the bus stop.
