    If you're starting from the Mandan City Hall located at 205 2nd Ave NW, head east on 2nd Ave NW for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Main St. Turn right onto Main St and continue south for about 0.5 miles. At the traffic lights, turn left onto Memorial Hwy (US-10). Walk for approximately 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park on your left. The Mandan Village Historic Site is located within this park.

    For those biking, you can start at the Mandan Park and Recreation Department at 2600 12th Ave NW. Head east on 12th Ave NW, then take a left onto 3rd St NW. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Memorial Hwy (US-10). Turn right and bike south for about 1.5 miles. You will find the entrance to Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park on your left, where the Mandan Village Historic Site is located.
