    From Mandan, head to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Main St and 1st Ave NW. Board the Bismarck-Mandan Transit bus (Route 1) heading toward Bismarck. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop near the Bismarck Civic Center. From there, walk east on E Boulevard Ave for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the North Dakota State Capitol located at 600 E Boulevard Ave.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Mandan. Start at the Mandan Depot and ride east on Main St. Cross the river on the Memorial Bridge, and continue straight onto E Boulevard Ave in Bismarck. Follow E Boulevard Ave for about 2 miles. The North Dakota State Capitol will be on your left at 600 E Boulevard Ave.
