Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start at the Minot Public Library located at 516 2nd Ave SW. Walk to the nearest bus stop at the library entrance. Catch the Route 1 bus heading east towards the Minot State University. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the stop at 3rd St SE & 22nd Ave SE. Transfer to Route 2 and board the bus heading east. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of E Burdick Expy and 12th St SE. From there, walk east for about 5 minutes along E Burdick Expy until you reach the Roosevelt Park Zoo entrance at 1219 E Burdick Expy.

  • Bicycle

    If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Minot city center. Head east on Main St S towards E Burdick Expy. Continue straight for about 1 mile. Once you reach the intersection with E Burdick Expy, turn left. Follow E Burdick Expy for about 0.5 miles until you see the sign for Roosevelt Park Zoo on your right. The zoo entrance will be at 1219 E Burdick Expy.

  • Walking

    If you are walking from downtown Minot, start at the corner of Main St S and 1st Ave SW. Head east on 1st Ave SW until you reach 3rd St SE. Turn right and walk south until you reach E Burdick Expy. Turn left on E Burdick Expy and continue walking for about 1 mile. You will see the Roosevelt Park Zoo entrance at 1219 E Burdick Expy on your left.
