Car

From the center of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, head south on ND-16 S for approximately 9 miles. Continue straight onto I-94 W for about 18 miles. Take the exit for ND-85 N toward Watford City. Follow ND-85 N for about 12 miles until you reach Medora. Once in Medora, follow the signs to Dakota Prairie Grasslands. The grasslands are located just outside the eastern edge of Medora, and you will see the entrance signage. Note that there may be a small parking fee at certain areas.
