Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the Valley City Visitor Center located at 250 Main St N, Valley City, ND 58072. From the Visitor Center, head south on Main St N towards the intersection with I-94BL (also known as Business Loop I-94). Continue on Main St N until you reach the intersection with I-94BL. Turn left onto I-94BL and walk approximately 0.5 miles. You'll see the signage for the Sheyenne River Valley National Scenic Byway along the way. The scenic byway begins at the address 100-416 I-94BL, which is where you will find the entrance.

• Biking

  If you have a bicycle, start at the Valley City Visitor Center located at 250 Main St N. Ride south on Main St N and at the intersection, turn left onto I-94BL. Follow I-94BL for about 0.5 miles. The Sheyenne River Valley National Scenic Byway is clearly marked, and you will reach the entrance at 100-416 I-94BL. Enjoy the scenic views as you ride along the byway.

  While Valley City does not have extensive public transportation options, you can check with local services if they have any bus routes that connect to the Sheyenne River Valley National Scenic Byway.
