From your location within Sheyenne National Grassland, head south on the main road, following signs for ND-32 S. Continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with ND-46 E. Turn right onto ND-46 E and drive for about 5 miles. You will see signs for Fort Ransom State Park. As you approach Fort Ransom, look for Walt Hjelle Parkway on your left; turn onto it. The entrance to Fort Ransom State Park will be on your right at 5981 Walt Hjelle Pkwy, Fort Ransom, ND 58033.
