    Starting from the Williston city center, head east on 2nd Ave E toward 4th St E. Continue straight to merge onto US-2 E. Follow US-2 for approximately 3 miles until you reach the intersection with ND-1804. Take the exit toward ND-1804 N and merge onto ND-1804. Continue on ND-1804 for about 12 miles. The Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site will be on your right at 15550 ND-1804. Look for the signage indicating the site as you approach.

The Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site will be located on your right at 15550 ND-1804. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the walk.
