Car

If you are driving, start from Kristiansand city center. Head east on Tordenskjolds gate and follow the signs for E39. Merge onto E39 and continue for approximately 9 kilometers. Take the exit toward Randesund and follow the local road signs for Randøya fort. You will have to drive through a residential area before reaching the parking area near the fort. There is no cost for parking.
Public Transportation

From Kristiansand bus station, take bus number 1 towards Randesund. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Randesund stop. From there, you'll need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Randøya fort. Follow the road signs towards Randøya, and you'll enjoy a scenic walk. The bus fare is approximately 50 NOK.
Ferry

If you are near a coastal area, you can also consider taking a ferry from Kristiansand harbor to Randøya. Check the local ferry schedules as they may vary.
