If you're driving from anywhere in Akershus, head towards the E6 highway. Follow the E6 towards Oslo. As you approach Oslo, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the city center (Sentrum). Once you reach Oslo, take the exit toward Nylandsveien and follow the signs for Biskop Gunnerus' gate. Continue straight until you reach Kirsten Flagstads Plass. The Oslo Opera House will be on your left, and there is parking available nearby.

To get to the Oslo Opera House using public transportation, start by finding the nearest train station. You can take a regional train from Akershus to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S). Once at Oslo S, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Take bus number 30 or tram number 12 towards Bekkestua. Get off at the 'Opera' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of the Oslo Opera House, located at Kirsten Flagstads Plass 1.
