If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Oslo. From central Akershus, take the E18 highway towards Oslo. Once you reach Oslo, follow the signs for Sognsvann (exit towards Sognsvann). Continue on Sognsveien until you reach Sognsvann lake. Here, you can park your car in the designated parking area (please note that parking may incur a fee). From the parking area, follow the marked trails leading into Nordmarka. The hike to Ullevålseter is approximately 3 km and is well-marked.

To reach Ullevålseter using public transportation, take the metro line 1 (red line) from any station in Akershus towards Frognerseteren. You need to get off at Sognsvann station. From the station, exit towards Sognsvann lake. There is a walking path that leads directly from the lake to Ullevålseter, which is about a 3 km hike. Make sure to check the Ruter website for the latest schedules and fares for the metro.
