Getting There

Walking
Start from the city center of Ålesund, near the main square (Stortorget). Head east on Kongens gate, which will lead you towards the water. After about 300 meters, you will reach the waterfront promenade (Aksla) where you can take a left. Continue along the promenade, enjoying the views of the harbor. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Ålesund City Park (Byparken) on your right. The park is located at 6003 Ålesund and is easily recognizable by its large green spaces and trees.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus station in Ålesund (Ålesund Rutebilstasjon), take bus number 3 towards 'Volsdalen'. The bus ride takes around 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Byparken', which is directly adjacent to Ålesund City Park. The park will be right in front of you as you exit the bus. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your visit.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start at the city center and head towards the waterfront on Kongens gate. Follow the same route as the walking instructions but on your bicycle. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the promenade, continue until you see the entrance to the park on your right. There are bike racks available near the entrance to secure your bicycle while you enjoy the park.
