From the city center of Ålesund, head towards the waterfront and locate the main street, Kirkegata. Walk along Kirkegata until you reach the junction with Storgata. Turn left onto Storgata and continue straight until you reach the corner of the street with a view of the Aksla mountain. Follow the signs leading towards 'Aksla' or 'Rundskue Viewpoint'. You will come across a path that leads up the hill. Follow the path, which will take you through a park and up a series of steps. Keep walking uphill until you reach the viewpoint, which will be clearly marked. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
