Walking

If you are starting from the Ålesund city center, head north on Kongens gate. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Rasmus Rønnebergsgate. Turn right onto Rasmus Rønnebergsgate and walk until you reach the waterfront. Here, you will see the beautiful view of the harbor. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Storgata. Follow Storgata until you reach the next roundabout and take the second exit onto Museumsvegen. Continue on Museumsvegen until you reach Sunnmøre Museum at Museumsvegen 12.
Public Transport

From the Ålesund city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Kirkegata'. Take bus number 609 towards 'Spjelkavik'. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Sunnmøre Museum' stop. Once you exit the bus, the museum will be a short walk away. Follow the signs to reach Sunnmøre Museum at Museumsvegen 12.
