Walking
From the center of Ålesund, start at the Town Park (Byparken) located at Storgata 16. Walk south down Storgata until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn right onto the promenade, which runs parallel to the water. Continue walking along the promenade, enjoying the views of the harbor and surrounding mountains. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach Ålesundet, where you can enjoy the beautiful strait and take photos. Look out for the iconic buildings along the waterfront.

From the Ålesund Town Hall (Rådhuset) bus stop, take bus line 2 towards 'Sjøholt'. This bus will take you along the coast. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Brosundet' stop.
