Walking
Start at the Ålesund Town Hall (Rådhuset) located at 65, Storgata. From the Town Hall, head southeast on Storgata towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade, known as 'Nørvasund'. Follow the promenade to your left (east) along the water for approximately 500 meters until you see the beautiful sculpture 'Avisgutten' on your right. The sculpture is located near the intersection of St. Olavs gate and the waterfront.

From the Ålesund Bus Station (Ålesund Rutebilstasjon), take bus line 601 towards 'Skodje'. Get off at the stop 'St. Olavs gate'. From the bus stop, walk south along St. Olavs gate for about 200 meters until you reach the sculpture 'Avisgutten', which will be on your left.
