From the center of Beitostølen, head southeast on Fv51. Continue on Fv51 for approximately 7 km. You will see signs for Smørkollen Viewpoint. There is a parking area available near the viewpoint, where you can leave your car. Please note that parking is free.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take the local bus service from Beitostølen to Beito. The bus departs from the main bus stop in Beitostølen. Make sure to check the schedule ahead of time, as service may be limited. Once you arrive in Beito, it is about a 1.5 km walk to Smørkollen Viewpoint. Follow Fv51, and you will see signs directing you to the viewpoint.
Walking
For those who are adventurous and want to hike, you can also walk from Beitostølen to Smørkollen Viewpoint. Starting from the center of Beitostølen, walk southeast on Fv51, which is a 7 km trek.
