Nordnesparken: A Serene Oasis in Bergen

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the city center (Bryggen), head east along the waterfront promenade called 'Bryggen'. Continue walking until you reach the end of the harbor. At the intersection, turn left onto Nordnesbakken street. Follow this street uphill for about 5-10 minutes until you see a sign for Nordnesparken. The park entrance will be on your right.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From the Bergen bus station (Bergen Busstasjon), take bus number 3 towards 'Nattland'. Get off at the 'Nordnesparken' stop. From there, walk a short distance back towards the park entrance which should be on your left.

• Public Transport - Light Rail

  Start at the Byparken light rail station in the city center. Take the light rail towards 'Lagunen'. Get off at the 'Bergenhus Festning' stop. From there, walk east along the waterfront for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to Nordnesparken.

• Walking from Fløibanen Funicular

  If you are at the Fløibanen funicular station, ride the funicular to the top. Once you have enjoyed the views, walk down the same path you came up on. This will lead you back to the city center. From there, head towards Bryggen and follow the waterfront promenade as described in the walking directions above.
