Getting There

Bus
From Bergen city center, walk to the Bergen Bus Station (Bergen Busstasjon) located at the edge of the city center. Look for the bus company 'Skyss' and check the timetable for buses heading towards Norheimsund. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Alight at the 'Norheimsund' bus stop. From there, follow the signs directing you towards Steinsdalsfossen, which is about a 30-minute walk. You will walk along the main road, and then take a left onto the path leading to the waterfall.

Ferry and Bus
From Bergen, take the ferry from the Fish Market (Fisketorget) to Norheimsund. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Norheimsund, exit the ferry terminal and walk to the bus stop. Take a bus that goes towards Steinsdalen. It's a short bus ride, and you will get off near the entrance to the Steinsdalsfossen trail. The walk to the waterfall from the bus stop is only about 10 minutes.

Begin your journey at Bergen Train Station (Bergen Stasjon). Board a train heading towards Voss; the travel time is approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Voss, exit the station and catch a bus that goes to Norheimsund. After about 20 minutes on the bus, get off at the 'Norheimsund' stop. From there, follow the walking directions to Steinsdalsfossen, which is a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.
