Bus
From Bergen city center, walk to the Bergen Bus Station (Bergen Busstasjon), which is located at Posthussmauet 2, 5015 Bergen. Look for the bus that goes to Øystese. You can check the bus schedules at the station or on the Vy app. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Øystese, disembark at the stop nearest to the Goldfish Lake. Follow the signs or ask a local for directions if needed.
Train + Bus
Start at Bergen Railway Station (Bergen Stasjon), located at Bontelabo 1, 5003 Bergen. Take a train towards Voss. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Voss Station, exit the train and find the bus terminal next to the train station. Look for a bus heading towards Øystese. The bus ride from Voss to Øystese will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Øystese, ask for directions to the Goldfish Lake, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Ferry + Bus
From Bergen, walk to the Fisketorget (Fish Market) where you can take a ferry to Norheimsund. Check the ferry schedule in advance as it may vary. The ferry ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Norheimsund, look for the local bus service that goes to Øystese. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. After getting off in Øystese, you can walk to the Goldfish Lake, which is nearby.
