Walking
If you are near the city center of Bergen, start at the famous Bryggen Wharf. From there, walk towards the Fish Market (Fisketorget). Once at the Fish Market, head towards the Torgallmenningen square. Continue straight until you reach the end of the square, where you will find the entrance to the University of Bergen. Walk through the university campus, following the signs for the Bergen Maritime Museum. The museum is located at Haakon Sheteligs plass 15, which is directly adjacent to the university.
Bus
From the city center, you can take Bus line 3 or 4 from the Bergen Bus Station. Get off at the stop called 'Universitetet'. After disembarking, walk towards the University of Bergen campus, and you will see signs directing you to the Bergen Maritime Museum at Haakon Sheteligs plass 15, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Light Rail
You can also take the light rail (Bybanen) from the city center. Board the line towards Lagunen Storsenter. Get off at the stop 'Bergen Storsenter'. From there, follow the signs to the bus stop and take Bus line 3 or 4 towards the university. Get off at 'Universitetet' and walk towards Haakon Sheteligs plass 15, where the museum is located.
