Walking
From the center of Nordnes, head east towards the waterfront. Walk along the waterfront promenade for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful harbor views and can enjoy the fresh sea air. Keep an eye out for the signposts directing you towards Haakon Sheteligs plass, where the museum is located. Once you reach the end of the promenade, turn left onto Haakon Sheteligs plass, and you will find the Bergen Maritime Museum at Haakon Sheteligs plass 15.

If you prefer to use public transport, find the nearest bus stop in Nordnes. You can take bus number 3 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Bergenhus Festning' which is approximately a 5-minute ride. From there, walk towards Haakon Sheteligs plass for about 7 minutes. The museum will be directly ahead at Haakon Sheteligs plass 15. Please note that a single bus ticket typically costs around NOK 38.

You can also opt for the light rail. Head to the nearest light rail station, which is a short walk from Nordnes. Take the light rail towards 'Lagunen Storsenter' and get off at 'Bergen Storsenter'. From there, you can transfer to bus number 3 or 4 towards the city center and alight at 'Bergenhus Festning'. Walk to Haakon Sheteligs plass, which is about a 7-minute walk from the bus stop.
