Walking
If you are starting from the Bergen Fish Market (Fisketorget), head east towards the Bergenhus Fortress. Walk past the fortress on your left and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rådstuplassen. Turn left onto Rådstuplassen, then take the first right onto Sydnesplassen. Continue walking for about 10 minutes; St. John's Church will be on your left at Sydnesplassen 5.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Bergen Bus Station (Bergen Sentralstasjon), take bus number 3 towards 'Bergen sentrum'. Disembark at the 'Sydnesplassen' stop. Once you get off the bus, walk back a few steps and you will see St. John's Church directly ahead at Sydnesplassen 5. It’s about a 2-minute walk from the bus stop.

Walking from Bryggen
Starting from Bryggen (the historic wharf area), head towards the Fløibanen Funicular. When you reach the funicular station, turn left onto Vetrlidsallmenningen and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rådstuplassen. Turn right onto Rådstuplassen, and then take the first left onto Sydnesplassen. St. John's Church will be on your left at Sydnesplassen 5, approximately a 15-minute walk from Bryggen.

If you are starting from the University of Bergen (UiB), exit the campus towards the main road (Fosswinckels gate). Turn left and walk down the hill towards the city center. At the intersection, turn right onto Rådstuplassen, and then take the first left onto Sydnesplassen. St. John's Church will be on your left at Sydnesplassen 5, approximately a 20-minute walk from the university.
