If you are starting from the Bergen Fish Market (Fisketorget), head east towards the Bergenhus Fortress. Walk past the fortress on your left and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rådstuplassen. Turn left onto Rådstuplassen, then take the first right onto Sydnesplassen. Continue walking for about 10 minutes; St. John's Church will be on your left at Sydnesplassen 5.
