Getting There

  • Bus

    From Bodø city center, head to the Bodø Bus Station located at Storgata 1. Take Bus number 100 towards Røsvika. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you are getting off at the Røsvika stop. Once you arrive at Røsvika, you will need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the entrance of Sjunkhatten National Park.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bodø. Start at Bodø Town Center and follow the coastal road (Fv17) out of the city. It’s approximately a 12 km ride to Røsvika. Once you arrive in Røsvika, look for signs leading to Sjunkhatten National Park, which is just a short ride from the center of Røsvika.

    For those who love hiking, you can take a more scenic route by hiking from Bodø. Start your journey from the city center and follow the coastline towards Røsvika.
