If you are in the center of Bodø, start at the Bodø Cathedral. From there, walk south towards the harbor. Once you reach the harbor, follow the coastline heading east. You will pass the Bodø Marina, which is on your right side. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the end of the harbor. At this point, you should see signs directing you to the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Moskenes, as Havmannen is located in Mo i Rana and you will need to transfer to a bus.

Upon arriving in Mo i Rana, you can either walk to Havmannen or take a local bus if available. The sculpture is located at Ola Grotnes' vei, which is a short walk from the bus station.
