    If you are driving to Hovdsundet Beach from Bodø, take E6 towards Fauske. After approximately 6 km, take the exit onto Fv17 towards Bodø. Continue on Fv17 for about 3 km, then turn right onto Hovdsundveien. Follow Hovdsundveien for about 1 km, and you will arrive at Hovdsundet Beach. There is free parking available near the beach.

    To reach Hovdsundet Beach by public transportation, take Bus Line 100 from Bodø city center towards Saltstraumen. After about 15 minutes, disembark at the 'Hovdsundet' bus stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk down Hovdsundveien to the beach. Bus tickets can be purchased on the bus or via the Nordland public transport app, with prices varying based on the distance traveled.
