Walking
From the Bryggen Wharf area, head east towards the end of the wharf. Turn right onto Øvregaten street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Støletorget. Turn left onto Støletorget and walk straight until you reach Stoltzekleiven. The starting point of Stoltzekleiven is located at the end of the street on your left.

Public Transportation
From Bryggen, walk to the nearest bus stop at Strandkaiterminalen, which is about a 5-minute walk away. Take Bus 16 towards Løvstakken and get off at the stop called 'Stoltzekleiven'. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. After disembarking, walk towards the Stoltzekleiven stairs, which will be directly in front of you.

If you are driving, set your GPS to 'Stoltzekleiven, 5014 Bergen'. From Bryggen, drive southeast along the waterfront on Strandgaten and follow signs for E39. Continue on E39 then take the exit towards Byparken. Drive through the city center and follow the road signs to Stoltzekleiven. There is limited parking available near the base of Stoltzekleiven, so be prepared to find street parking or park in a nearby parking facility. Note that parking may incur fees, usually around 20-30 NOK per hour.
