If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any location in Buskerud. Use the E16 highway towards Fagernes. Follow the signs for E16 and Aurland. After approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of driving, you will reach Flåm. The address is A-Feltvegen 11, 5743 Flåm. There are parking facilities available in Flåm, and parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus or train from your location in Buskerud to the nearest major city, such as Oslo or Bergen. From Oslo, you can take a train to Myrdal Station via NSB (Norwegian State Railways). The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours. At Myrdal Station, transfer to the Flåmsbana train, which will take you down to Flåm in about 1 hour. The Flåmsbana offers stunning views and is a popular tourist attraction, costing around 400 NOK for a one-way ticket.
Combination of Car and Train
