Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Karasjok, which is the closest town to the viewpoint. From the center of Karasjok, take Route 92 heading east. After approximately 15 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the hiking area towards the viewpoint. Park your vehicle in the designated parking area and follow the marked hiking trail that leads to the viewpoint. The hike should take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
Public Transportation
To reach the viewpoint using public transportation, first take a bus to Karasjok. Bus services are available from major cities in Finnmark, including Alta and Lakselv. Upon arrival in Karasjok, you can either walk to the viewpoint (about 3 km from the bus station) or take a local taxi to the hiking area. If you choose to walk, head east on Route 92 until you reach the trailhead. The trail is well-marked from there.
