If you're driving from the city of Alta, take the E6 highway heading north. Continue on the E6 until you reach the town of Olderfjord, where you will follow the signs for Route 888 towards Magerøya. After approximately 35 kilometers, you will cross the undersea tunnel (Magerøytunnelen) that connects you to Magerøya Island.
