If you are starting from Alta, take the E6 highway northbound. Drive approximately 300 kilometers, which will take around 4-5 hours. As you approach Nordkapp, you will reach the town of Honningsvåg. Follow road signs leading to Nordkapp (Route 93). The last stretch involves a toll road; be prepared to pay approximately NOK 200 for the toll. Once you arrive at the Nordkapp Visitor Center, park your car and follow the signs to Nordkapp Horn, which is a short walk from the center.
Public Transportation
From Alta, take a bus to Honningsvåg. Bus services are available and can be checked through the Finnmark Fylkestrafikk website. The journey takes about 6-7 hours with multiple stops along the way. Once in Honningsvåg, you can take a local bus or taxi to the Nordkapp Visitor Center. Be aware that the bus timetable may vary, so plan your trip accordingly. The local bus to Nordkapp is generally available during the tourist season.

If you prefer a more direct route once in Honningsvåg, consider taking a taxi to Nordkapp. The distance from Honningsvåg to Nordkapp is approximately 30 kilometers, and the taxi fare may range from NOK 600 to NOK 800. Ensure to arrange your taxi in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons.
Walking
For those who enjoy hiking, there are trails leading to Nordkapp Horn from nearby areas. However, this is recommended only for experienced hikers as the terrain can be challenging and weather conditions can change rapidly.
