Car
From Flåm, start by heading north on Route 5 (Fv5) towards Aurlandsvangen. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 7 (Riksvei 7). Turn left onto Route 7 and continue for about 25 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Eidfjord. Once in Eidfjord, follow Kjeåsvegen which leads you up to Kjeåsen. The entire drive should take around 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Start your journey from Flåm by taking the bus to Voss. You can catch a bus operated by Skyss. The bus ride to Voss takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Voss, transfer to another bus heading to Eidfjord. This portion of the trip takes about 1 hour. Upon reaching Eidfjord, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare to take you up Kjeåsvegen to Kjeåsen, which is approximately a 15-minute drive. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time to ensure a smooth transfer.
