Car
If you are driving in Flåm, start by heading east on Rv 5 from the center of Flåm. Continue on Rv 5 for about 3 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the direction to Rjoandefossen; there will be a turn-off to your left just before you reach a bridge. Follow the road leading towards the waterfall, which will take you directly to the parking area near the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Rjoandefossen using public transportation, start by taking the local bus service from the Flåm bus terminal. Look for the bus that goes towards Myrdal or Aurland; confirm with the bus driver that it stops at Håreina or Dalsbotn stations. Get off at either Håreina or Dalsbotn, and from there, the waterfall is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the path signs leading towards Rjoandefossen.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Flåm, you can walk to Rjoandefossen. Head towards Rv 5 from the center of Flåm, then walk along the road for about 3 kilometers. Be sure to follow the pedestrian footpaths where available. Once you reach the turn-off for the waterfall, follow the signs leading to Rjoandefossen; it's a scenic 15-minute walk from the turn-off.
