Walking
If you are already in Gudvangen, the Tursti hiking trail is very accessible on foot. Start at the Gudvangen parking area located along E16. From there, head northeast on E16 towards the direction of Vangsvik. After about 200 meters, you will see a sign indicating the entrance to the hiking trail on your left. Follow the path for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the trailhead. The hike itself offers stunning views, so take your time and enjoy the scenery!
Car
If you are traveling by car, you can navigate to the Tursti hiking trail easily. Drive towards Gudvangen via route E16. The trail is located just off E16, so look for signs indicating the Tursti hiking area as you approach Gudvangen. Once you arrive, you can park in the designated parking area near the Gudvangen Fjordhotel. The trailhead is a short walk from the parking area, about 200 meters northeast along E16.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take a bus heading towards Gudvangen from nearby towns such as Voss or Flåm. Check the schedule in advance, as service may be limited. The bus will drop you off at the Gudvangen bus stop, which is located on E16. From the bus stop, walk northeast for about 200 meters along E16 until you see the sign for the Tursti hiking trail. The hike offers beautiful mountain views and is well worth the effort!
