If you are traveling by car from Hafjell to the Birdwatching Tower, start by heading south on Fåbergv. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto E6 towards Lillehammer. Continue on E6 for about 10 kilometers, then take exit 87 towards Lillehammer. Follow signs for Lillehammer center. After 2 kilometers, turn left onto Storgata and follow it until you see the signs for the Birdwatching Tower. There is free parking available near the tower.

To reach the Birdwatching Tower using public transportation, start by taking bus line 100 from Hafjell to Lillehammer. The bus departs regularly from the Hafjell bus stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lillehammer bus station, transfer to bus line 2 towards Fåberg. Ride this bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop labeled 'Fåberg'. From there, you will need to walk about 1.5 kilometers to the Birdwatching Tower.
