Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Hafjell and head northeast on Fåberggvegen (Route 213) towards Lillehammer. Continue on Fåberggvegen for about 10 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto E6 towards Oslo. After approximately 5 kilometers, take exit 81 toward Lillehammer. Follow the signs for Strandpromenaden, which will lead you into the city center. Once in Lillehammer, look for signs pointing to Strandpromenaden. The scenic spot is along the waterfront, and parking is available nearby, though be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin by taking the bus from Hafjell to Lillehammer. Bus services are provided by Oppland Trafikkselskap, and you can catch your bus at the Hafjell bus stop. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, and tickets can be purchased on the bus or via the app. Once you arrive at Lillehammer bus station, exit the station and head towards Strandpromenaden, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the waterfront area, and you will find Strandpromenaden along the scenic lakeside promenade.
