Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Odda. Drive on Route 13 towards the Hardangervidda National Park. As you approach the park, turn onto County Road 100 (also known as 'Riksveg 100') heading towards the Freimslia viewpoint. Follow the signs for Freimslia. The viewpoint is located at latitude 60.0695738 and longitude 6.5629543. Make sure to park in the designated area as parking is limited.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Odda to the nearest stop for Freimslia. The bus service is operated by Nor-Way Bussekspress, and you can check their schedule online. Once you arrive at the designated bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers uphill to reach the Freimslia viewpoint. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
Hiking
For those already in the park and looking for an adventure, you can hike to Freimslia viewpoint. Start from the nearest hiking trailhead, which can be found on the park map or local signage.
