From the center of Odda, head east on E134. Continue on E134 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Fylkesvei 550. Take the exit onto Fylkesvei 550 and follow it for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Gamle Postvegen. The road will lead you to the starting point of Gamle Postvegen, where you can park your car.
Public Transportation
Take the bus from the Odda bus terminal towards Røldal. Ensure you check the bus schedule for departures as they may vary seasonally. Get off at the stop 'Nesflaten', which is approximately 15 kilometers away from Gamle Postvegen. From there, you will need to hike along the marked trails towards Gamle Postvegen, following the signs that indicate the route. It’s advisable to have a map handy for this portion of the journey.
