Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Ål. Drive towards the E7 highway and head south. Follow the signs for Hardangervidda National Park. Continue on the E7 until you reach the turn-off for Rv. 37. Take Rv. 37 north towards the park. From Rv. 37, look for signs directing you to Kulufossen. The waterfall is located about 10 km from the nearest parking area, where you will need to park your car.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Ål to the nearest stop that services Hardangervidda National Park. The bus service may vary, so check the schedules in advance. Once you arrive at the bus stop, you will need to hike approximately 10 km to reach Kulufossen. Ensure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water and snacks for the hike.
Hiking
After parking your car at the designated parking area near Rv. 37, follow the marked trails leading to Kulufossen.
