If you are traveling by car, start from Hamar, the capital of Hedmark. Take the E6 highway heading north. Continue on the E6 for approximately 120 km until you reach the junction for the Rv27. Take the exit onto Rv27 towards Folldal. Follow Rv27 for about 30 km, and you will arrive at the entrance of Rondane National Park. Make sure to check for parking areas near the various hiking starting points, and note that parking fees may apply.

Begin your journey from Hamar Station, taking a train on the Dovre Line to Otta Station. The train journey typically takes around 2 hours.
