If you are driving to Tangen Zoo, start by getting onto the E6 highway. From anywhere in Hedmark, follow signs for E6 towards Oslo. Continue on E6 until you reach the exit for Kolomoen (Exit 31). Take the exit and follow the signs towards Kolomoen. Once on Kolomoen road, drive for about 2 km. Tangen Zoo will be on your left at Kolomoen 904, 2337 Tangen. There is parking available on-site.

To reach Tangen Zoo via public transportation, you can take a train or bus to the nearest major town, which is Elverum. From Elverum, take bus number 112 towards Tangen. The bus will stop at Kolomoen, which is a short walk from Tangen Zoo. The journey from Elverum to Tangen takes approximately 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the bus station or via a mobile app, and the cost of a single ticket is around 50 NOK.
