If you're driving from the center of Hemsedal, start by heading northeast on Hemsedalsvegen (Route 52) towards Lykkjavegen. After approximately 2 km, turn right onto Lykkjavegen. Continue on Lykkjavegen for about 1 km until you reach Helgetjerne (SS), which will be located on your right side. There is free parking available along the roadside.

Public Transportation

To reach Helgetjerne (SS) using public transportation, take the local bus service from Hemsedal sentrum towards Skogstad. The bus will make several stops along Hemsedalsvegen. Get off at the stop 'Lykkjavegen'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk along Lykkjavegen to reach Helgetjerne (SS), which is a well-marked tourist attraction. Please check the local bus schedule for times and frequency as services may vary.

Walking

If you're already in Hemsedal and prefer to walk, you can start from the main square (Hemsedal sentrum). Head northeast towards Hemsedalsvegen, then follow it for about 2 km. Once you reach Lykkjavegen, turn right and walk for approximately 1 km. Helgetjerne (SS) will be on your right side. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk can be a bit hilly.
