If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hemsedal. Head east on Fv52 towards Fv245. Continue on Fv52 for approximately 7 kilometers until you reach the junction with Fv245. Turn left onto Fv245. After about 3 kilometers, you will see a sign for Fekjanåenefossen. Turn right onto the gravel road that leads to a parking area near the waterfall. The parking is free.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the local bus from Hemsedal to Fekjanåen. The bus departs from the main bus station in Hemsedal and operates several times a day. Check the local bus schedule for specific times. Once you arrive at the Fekjanåen stop, it's a short walk (approximately 1 kilometer) along a marked trail to Fekjanåenefossen. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear as the path can be uneven.
Walking
If you are already in the Hemsedal area and prefer walking, you can take a scenic route to Fekjanåenefossen. From the center of Hemsedal, walk along Fv52 heading east. After about 7 kilometers, you will reach the junction with Fv245. From there, follow the signs towards Fekjanåenefossen, which is approximately 3 kilometers away on a gravel path. This walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, so plan accordingly.
